Why Eden exists

Built to give you the senior people. And nothing else.

Eden came out of years spent running traditional agencies. They did some things well. The things they did badly were structural rather than accidental.

A client's fee had to cover the office, the staff, and everyone sitting between them and the work. Projects moved at the pace of the structure rather than the pace of the problem. And we could only ever put forward the people we happened to employ, rather than the best people for what a client actually needed.

Eden started from one question: what if you kept the senior people and dropped everything else?

Consistency

The team you meet is the team you get.

Most Eden projects run with the same small senior group. We've worked together for over 10 years, we know how each other work, and you'll see the same faces from the first conversation through to handover.

You'll know exactly who is on your project before anything starts. That doesn't change once you've signed.

The network

Specialists chosen, not allocated.

Some projects need something beyond the core team — a particular kind of build, a photographer, a sector specialist, a studio with capability we don't hold ourselves.

When that happens we bring in someone we've already worked with, picked because they're the right person for the job rather than because they're the person free that month.

An agency can only offer you the people on its own staff. We can offer you the best person we know for the thing you actually need.

The one rule

One rule about who works on your project.

Nobody joins a project we haven't worked with ourselves. That's the whole filter, and it comes straight out of the agency years, where too much depended on people we hadn't chosen.

Everyone in the network has delivered for Eden before, or comes vouched for by someone who has. If we don't know them, they don't work on your project.

Where the savings come from

No offices. No overhead. Just the work.

There are no offices in our fee, and no full-time salaries to cover between projects. What you're paying for is the experience working on your brief, not the structure standing around it.

It's why the same budget usually buys more senior time here than at an agency of comparable standing — and why we often come in under one.

Incentives

Why the work gets done properly.

Everyone in the network is here because Eden brings them good projects. That only continues if the work is good.

Nobody is protecting a retainer or filling a timesheet. The incentive is to deliver well and quickly, because reputation inside the network is what generates the next project — for them and for everyone in it. That turns out to be a more reliable motivation than a contract.

How people find us

Told to by someone else.

Almost everyone who works with Eden was told to by someone else. That isn't a growth strategy we engineered; it's the only one that has ever worked.

It also sets the standard. Every project has to be good enough that the person who recommended us is glad they did.
